Prayer

"Listen to what the Spirit is saying."

 Acknowledgment of Country

We turn our hearts and minds to the people of the Yorta Yorta nation, who have occupied this country for thousands of years.

We pay respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging, and commit to walking alongside Aboriginal Australians in truth and justice.

A Prayer for Mother’s Day

Loving God,

We give thanks for our mothers and all who nurture, guide, and care with patience and love. We are grateful for their strength, their sacrifices, and the quiet ways they shape lives with tenderness and faith.

Bless mothers with encouragement and rest. Surround them with appreciation and peace, and renew their hearts when days are heavy. Grant them wisdom for each season, joy in small moments, and confidence in the love they give so freely.

We also hold in prayer those for whom this day is difficult—those who grieve, those who long to be mothers, those who miss their children, and those whose experiences of motherhood carry pain. Wrap them in Your compassion and remind them they are never alone.

May we honour mothers not only with our words, but with our actions—through gratitude, kindness, and love. Help us to be people who reflect the care, grace, and generosity we have received.

We offer this prayer with thankful hearts, trusting You to bless every family and every story.

Amen.

School Theme 2026

Gallery Image

This year our school theme is: Seek Peace and Pursue it.   For leaders, educators, students, and families, this theme is both a challenge and a compass. It reminds us that peace is not the absence of conflict, but the presence of justice, mercy, and love. It calls us to be peacemakers in our schools, homes, communities, and hearts. And it affirms that the pursuit of peace is not optional, it is essential to the mission of Catholic leadership.

In 2026, may we not only seek peace, but pursue it with courage, humility, and hope.
