Easter Raffle Wrap Up

Congratulations to all our Easter Raffle winners and a big thank you to Marisa and Lizle for putting together all the hampers. 

Thank you to everyone who supported our first fundraiser by buying Easter Raffle tickets last term. Your support generated about $800 for new sandpit toys and wet weather games for classrooms. Thank you for your support! 

Mother’s and Special Person’s Day Stall

Our Mother’s and Special Person’s Day Stall will be held on Friday, the 1st of May.

Students will visit the stall with their class, during the school day.

It is always a highlight for the children as they shop for a thoughtful gift for their special someone. And for the helpers, it’s very cute watching them choose the perfect gift and practice their maths skills as they count out their coins to pay. 

If you would like your child to pick up a little gift for their special person, please send them with cash for the stall. All items will be between $1 and $5.

Mother’s and Special Person’s Day Yoga and Breakfast

We warmly invite St. John’s children and their Mothers or Special Person to join us for a beautiful morning of connection and celebration. 

Where: St. John’s School Hall

When: Friday, 8th May

7:30–8:00am – Yoga & Mindfulness Session - Please bring a mat or towel.  

8:00–8:40am – Continental Breakfast
$5 per person

Spaces for yoga are very limited, so be sure to book early to avoid missing out!

Breakfast tickets are available now on the PIC Square site. Yoga bookings will open on Friday, 24th of April at 10am. http://st-johns-pic.square.site

Helper Dads Needed for Mother’s and Special Person’s Day Events

Helpers Needed (Dads Especially!)

The PIC is organising two events for Mother's Day and we need helpers to ensure they run smoothly. It would be especially great if we could get as many dads down to help out as possible, so mums can be surprised by their gifts the children choose, and can sit down to enjoy their special breakfast. 

 

Mother's and Special Person's Day Stall (Friday, 1 May)

There will be 3 set shift times, but any help throughout the day, even if you can't stay for the full shift, would be greatly appreciated. 

Shift times: 

1. 10am - 11am

2. 11:30am - 1:45pm

3. 2:15pm - 3:20pm

Thursday, 7 May: evening set up of the hall, ready for the morning

Friday, 8 May: Help needed from 7:15am to 8:45 to help serve breakfast and clear up.

Second-hand Uniform Shop

The online uniform shop can be found online at the PIC Square Site. Stock is updated regularly as donations are received, so please check back often if you’re after a specific item. Orders are packed within a week of ordering, and you will receive a notification when it’s ready for pick up from the office.  http://st-johns-pic.square.site 

PIC Events Calendar

Our school is a wonderful community and it’s through many of our events that community is fostered. However, it also takes a lot of work to put these together, and we need more helpers this year to ensure we can go ahead with future events.
