We pray for the Sisters of Mercy, who established our school and for the priests who have served at St. Mary’s.
It is through their vision, determination and strong faith that we enjoy the benefits of a Catholic Education here in Mooroopna.

Sacrament of First Reconciliation
Congratulations to Eddie Weis who celebrated his First Reconciliation during our 3/4 Unit Mass on the 21st August. Thank you to Fr Addin for celebrating this special occasion with us.
Grade 5/6 Learning Area Mass
Last Friday, our Senior students came together to celebrate Mass as a unit. The theme of the Mass was Mission, and it was celebrated by Fr Ruel.
Our Year 5/6 students are to be commended for their excellent behaviour throughout the Mass and for their enthusiastic participation in the various parts of the celebration. Their reverence, engagement and positive attitude contributed to a wonderful and meaningful Mass.
God with A Human Face - Along the Track article
The latest edition of Along the Track entitled “God with A Human Face” is attached below. Pope Benedict called Jesus ‘God with the human face.’ Pope Francis added if you want to know what God is like, look at Jesus.It is always helpful to take a bit of time occasionally to refresh what we know – to think again about who Jesus is, to come to understand what he did and why, and what he asks us to do.

- Thursday 17th September – Sacramental Lessons - Eucharist
- Friday 9th October - Sacramental Reflection Day for all Grade 4-6 students
- Sunday 11th October - Celebration of First Eucharist and Confirmation at Parish mass.
