Subway Lunch Orders

PLEASE NOTE - 

 

Subway Orders to be in Thursday and close on CDFpay at 2.45pm, late orders can be dropped directly to Subway Mooroopna prior to close of business Thursday. Lunch Orders will be delivered Fridays.

 

 

REMINDERS - Winter School Uniform

Winter uniform should now be being worn during Term 3.   Changes to this is at the principal's discretion.

Winter Uniform -

  • All students - Grey long pants/shorts/Skort, School polo top (short or long sleeve) and school navy blue windcheater, grey socks with long pants OR white socks for girls in skort.
  • Sports uniform is to be worn for students PE day and all students are required to wear school polo shirt & windcheater as required, plain black basketball shorts or track pants - no logos permitted and no bike shorts or leggings, these are not school uniform.

PLEASE NOTE 

  • Bike shorts/leggings are not school uniform.
  • Students uniform items should not have any branding or logos other than school print.
  • Shorts are to be visible and longer than T-Shirt and or Jumper.
  • Jewellery - sleepers or studs 1 per ear, extra earrings are to be clear, 1 necklace with religious or cultural symbol, nose piercing is not to be noticeable (eg clear stud) or should be covered, no bangles or bracelets.
  • Hair ties to be black or Navy Blue.

News from Around The School

Updated - Father's Day Stall

P&F will hold a Father's Day stall on Wednesday 2nd September. Students will attend in their class and are asked to bring along no more than $5, Items available to purchase range from $1 - $4.

P&F are also running a Father's Day Raffle with multiple prizes - Tickets are due back Wednesday.

Updated - Father's Day Breakfast

We will be holding our annual Father's Day Breakfast on Friday 4th September from 7:30am - 8:45am.  All dads, grandfathers and important father figures are welcome to attend.

The cost will be $15 per family, payable via CDFpay or correct cash on the day. Students whose fathers cannot attend are able purchase breakfast at a cost of $5 per family. 

Coffee Van will be attending, and school will supply 1 Hot Drink per adult, however due to time constraints and safety concerns, hot drinks will not be served to children.

Father's Day Raffle will be drawn at the Breakfast.

New - NAIDOC Week Medal of Excellence

Congratulations, Riya! 

We are incredibly proud to congratulate Riya on receiving a NAIDOC Week Medal of

 Excellence for her recent competition entry as part of this year’s NAIDOC Week initiatives.

Riya is one of only 48 students across the State to receive this wonderful recognition — an outstanding achievement!

We congratulate Riya on her creativity, effort and commitment and celebrate this very special achievement with her. What a wonderful accomplishment!

The excitement is building!

Our amazing production preparations are well underway, with some exciting props beginning to take shape for our upcoming St. Mary’s production! 

From Humble Beginnings, Let Your Light Shine

On Wednesday, 25 November, we will come together to celebrate 90 wonderful years of St. Mary’s through a very special production that reflects on our history, our community and the many people who have helped our school shine across the years.

We can’t wait to see the creativity and hard work of our students and staff come together on stage. There is already so much excitement behind the scenes!

New - Bullying! No Way Week

Our students have been doing a wonderful job engaging in our Bullying No Way Week activities last week!

It has been fantastic to see students learning about kindness, respect, inclusion and standing up for others. A big thank you to our wonderful staff for promoting and supporting this important week across the school.

Foodshare

St Mary's School has become an agent for Foodshare. We are able to assist with some food items for families in the Mooroopna area. Each week we will have a variety of items including food supplies, groceries, fruits and vegetables. If you need support or would like to collect a bag of  suppli please reach out to Meg Brown, Nerissa Russell or Ros Kempinski via the school office - 5825285.
