Specialist Award
This week, the Specialist Shout Out goes to 2B for being resilient and working as a team during Italian by communicating and listening to each other throughout their lessons. The class has been able to use their thinking-brains to solve problems and figure out how to do things together. Congratulations 2B!
Clubs Update
This term, students have loved participating in the range of lunchtime clubs offered across the school! It has been wonderful to see so many students exploring new interests, building friendships and developing new skills during break times!
Our Green Thumbs Club has been busy helping to keep our school grounds green, clean and beautiful, while Bird Nerds have enjoyed searching the yard for different types of birds and learning more about the wildlife around us. In Choir, students have been learning the lyrics to a new song and working collaboratively to create a dance to match their performance.
Kindness Club has provided opportunities for students to celebrate respect, diversity and wellbeing through a variety of games and activities. The club aims to build a culture where everyone feels a sense of belonging and feels valued within our school community.
We have also had three different Colouring and Drawing Clubs running throughout the week, where students have enjoyed practising and developing their creativity and drawing skills.
We have loved seeing students so enthusiastically involved in clubs this term and we look forward to seeing the exciting clubs on offer in Term 3!
