AU/NZ: Introduction - Agent Profit Planner for sales teams

📹 3 minute video

Principals are under constant pressure to drive performance, improve consistency, and plan with confidence for the year ahead. One of the biggest challenges is gaining clear, reliable visibility of what each salesperson intends to achieve – and how those individual targets translate into an agency-wide result.

The Agent Profit Planner provides a practical solution. It equips every salesperson with a structured way to define their financial goals, understand the activity required to achieve them, and take ownership of their performance.

More importantly, when this tool is adopted across the entire sales team, it becomes far more than an individual planning exercise. It creates a consistent dataset of targets and assumptions that can be used by principals to build a realistic, bottom-up business plan for the 2026–2027 financial year.

Each agent’s plan feeds directly into the broader agency strategy. It enables informed forecasting, sharper accountability, and more meaningful performance conversations throughout the year. Progress can then be tracked regularly, ensuring both the agent and the business stay aligned to agreed outcomes.

This is where the real value sits – not just in planning, but in creating clarity, discipline, and measurable progress across the entire sales function.

Our Guidelines Strictly Forbid the Uploading of Sensitive Personal Data
Our Guidelines Strictly Forbid the Uploading of Sensitive Personal Data

First National Real Estate has developed an Artificial Intelligence (AI) policy template that’s ready for your office to implement.

The policy establishes that technology must only serve as an assistive tool rather than a substitute for professional human judgement, particularly regarding decision-making and marketing. It categorises AI tasks into permitted, restricted, and prohibited tiers to ensure that high-risk activities, such as tenant selection or price setting, remains under human control.

Furthermore, the guidelines strictly forbid the uploading of sensitive personal data or internal financial records into AI systems to maintain privacy compliance.

Staff are granted access to a specific stack of approved software, provided they disable data-harvesting features to protect brand integrity and privacy principles. Ultimately, the policy ensures that licensed professionals remain personally accountable for all AI-generated outputs and client interactions.

  • Download the policy template and adapt to suit your office (Download the file before editing please, so all members may download the original, not your amendments). Please do not edit in the national Dropbox as it affects all members)

  • Read and discuss the AI policy with team members

  • Put up the A4 traffic light poster to remind staff of your risk framework

  • Require staff to watch this brief training video

  • Look out for upcoming training on this subject

AU: Futures Club – Building the Leaders Who Will Shape Our Network

👓 2 minute read

The Futures Club marks a decisive step forward in how First National develops its people. Building on the foundations of FN Squad, it introduces a structured, two-year leadership and business development programme designed to produce capable, commercially minded future leaders across the network.

For Principals, the value is immediate and practical.

The programme strengthens succession planning, reduces reliance on external recruitment and builds leadership depth within your office. Participants apply what they learn directly into day-to-day operations, improving decision-making, team performance and overall business capability. With a nationally recognised Diploma of Property (Agency Management) embedded into the programme, it also lifts compliance, operational discipline and financial understanding across the business.

For team members, the Futures Club provides a clear and credible pathway. It moves beyond theory and places participants in real leadership situations, supported by mentoring, state-based sessions and national collaboration. They gain practical skills, industry exposure and the confidence to take on greater responsibility, whether in management or future ownership roles.

This is not training for training’s sake. It is a deliberate investment in capability, retention and long-term business strength.

The question for every office is straightforward: who in your team is ready to step forward, and who will you trust to lead the next chapter of your business?
