Well done Team CJC at the Division swimming competition.

Calling all parents & carers who are sports enthusiasts to join the Sports Committee!

CJC has created a new Sports Committee this year to celebrate all things sports the year of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. The CJC Sports Committee includes Caroline Pommier, CJC French Program Director, Jayden Van Dyk, CJC PE teacher and Maud Rocher Vagedes  (Gr. 6E/F class convenor and member of the Parents Committee). We would like to organise some special events in the lead up to the Olympic Games and welcome your input and help!

We are looking for parents/carers coaches for Grade 5/6 sports such as soccer, netball or footy (Fridays 2 to 3:30pm), but also Grade 3 to 6 cross-country or track & field later in the year. Along with a CJC teacher, you will help / train the Gr.5/6 and later 3 to 6 until each district interschool championship. All you need is a valid WWCC, your passion and a good understanding of the sport of your choice.

Or if you wish to volunteer at the Special event(s) in the lead up to the Paris Olympic Games in July-August, join us too!

Finally, if you know any world class athletes or teams (in any sport) that CJC could come in contact with, to watch them train or to invite them over for a chat with the kids about their life and achievements, let us know too!
