Wattle
Middle Primary Years
Wattle Learning Place has had a strong and settled start to the year, with students building confidence, routines and connections within their new learning environment. As this is a new learning place, the resilience shown by students has been a standout. They have demonstrated flexibility, persistence and a willingness to engage with new routines, staff and peers.
Students have been actively engaging across all areas of the curriculum through hands-on, structured and play based learning experiences. This has included developing early literacy and numeracy skills, participating in collaborative activities, and building communication through visuals, modelling and supported language.
A sincere thank you to families for your ongoing support during this transition. Your partnership has played an important role in helping students feel safe, confident and ready to learn.
Overall, Term 1 has been a positive foundation, with students showing increasing independence, engagement and readiness for continued learning. We are looking forward to continuing to build on this strong start in Term 2, with a focus on deepening student learning, strengthening independence and supporting every student to achieve their goals.
