Staff Leaving St Anthony's

After 16 wonderful years at St Anthony's Miss Deana Portia will be leaving at the end of the year. She has accepted a position at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Deepdene doing Learning Diversity, Intervention and Literacy Leader.

Deana has held different roles over her time here at St Anthony's from class teacher, SPEL and supporting students with additional learning needs. She has made a difference in the lives of many St Anthony's students.

After 10 wonderful years at St Anthony's Miss Ellis Warrener will be leaving at the end of the year. She has accepted a position at St Mark’s in Dingley teaching STEM and leading in Numeracy and Digital Technologies.

Ellis has led digital technologies at St Anthony’s, assisting our students to build their 21st century skills through digital learning. Ellis is our tech guru and go-to person for any and everything digital! We will miss her expertise immensely but wish her the very best as she will continue to grow in her leadership.

Mary Diaco is moving on at the end of the year heading to Don Bosco in Narre Warren. Mary started as a learning support officer in 2023 then had her first year teaching in 2024. Mary often puts her hand up to assist fellow staff and shared her passion when she assisted with our production in 2023.  It has been wonderful to see her growth over the past two years. We wish her well in her bright teaching future.

Pei Lim has taken a role at Holy Family in Doveton. We were fortunate to have Pei with us at St Anthony’s for 2 years. She gently guided our year 1/2 students and created a highly organised classroom that allowed students to flourish. We wish Pei much success in her teaching career

I thank Deana, Ellis, Pei and Mary D for sharing their talents and dedication with the staff, students and families of St Anthony's. I know you all join me in wishing them much success and joy in their new roles for 2025.
