Message from the Principal

St Anthony’s Parish and St Anthony’s School hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as central and fundamental responsibilities of the Church.

St Anthony’s is fully compliant with all policies in relation to Child Safety. These documents ensure compliance with the Victorian Government Child Safety Standards which took effect on 1 January 2017 and reflect our Parish's ongoing commitment to ensuring that all children are safe, happy and empowered.

Dear Families and Friends,

Thank you for a fabulous 2024! Our students, families and staff have enabled us to ensure that all at St Anthony's flourish and are known.

As we come to the close of another year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the many blessings we have experienced here at St Anthony's Primary School. This has been a year of growth, learning, and celebrations. I am filled with gratitude for the vibrant community we have here, and I am so proud of all that we have accomplished together.

As we look ahead to the new year, I am excited about the opportunities that await us.  Our teachers will continue to engage in professional development to ensure that they are equipped with the latest teaching strategies and resources. We will also continue to foster an environment of respect, inclusion, and care where every person at St Anthony's feels valued and supported. Next year is the Church's Jubilee Year with a focus on Pilgrims of Hope, 2025 will also see us celebrate St Anthony's Primary School's 70th birthday.

As we near the end of the year, we also say goodbye to some familiar faces, Miss Portia, Miss Warrener, Miss Pei and Miss Diaco. We thank them for their dedicated service and wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
