From the Principal

A major milestone has been reached in the construction of the new Junior School at Endeavour College, with Level 1 of the building officially completed following one of the most significant construction activities undertaken on site to date.
In the early hours of Tuesday 19 May, work commenced from 2:00am as the site came alive with activity. Over the course of the morning, 60 concrete trucks arrived at the College, supported by two large concrete pumps and dozens of workers coordinating the carefully planned operation. The large-scale concrete pour marked another exciting chapter in the College’s journey toward welcoming Reception to Year 6 students in 2027.
This pour was the second of six major concrete pours scheduled across the project site, following the successful first pour completed on Wednesday, 29 April. Each stage is a critical component in bringing the structure of the new Junior School to life, with the latest works resulting in Level 1 of the building now being complete.
The operation required extensive planning and precision, with construction teams working tirelessly through the early morning to ensure the process was completed safely and efficiently. The scale of the works provided a visible reminder of the momentum behind the Lakeside development and the significant progress being made on site each week.
Additionally, there have been many exciting things happening across the 7–12 campus at Endeavour College, with this week’s Rijken Cup proving a highlight for many of our Senior School athletes. Across the five-day competition, approximately 50 students have represented the College in a range of sporting events held at venues across Adelaide.
Our students have demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, competed with great determination and represented the College with pride and regardless of the overall outcome, it has been wonderful to see our athletes in action throughout the week.
I would also like to sincerely thank all College staff who have contributed to the success of the event, whether coaching and supporting students at venues or assisting back on campus through relief lessons and additional duties.
Lastly, I am very much looking forward to seeing many members of our community at the College tonight for the highly anticipated Cabaret. Our students and Music staff have been working tirelessly in preparation for this event and, like previous years, I am sure it will be a fantastic success. Events such as Cabaret provide a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the extraordinary talent within our College community and the dedication of the staff who support these performances behind the scenes.
