SCHOOL ATHLETICS DAY
Today we held our annual School Athletics Day, and it was a fantastic success. While the morning started with a fresh chill in the air, the sunshine soon arrived, creating perfect conditions for a wonderful day of competition and participation.
It was fantastic to see students showcasing the athletics skills they have been developing throughout the term during Physical Education lessons with Mr Scanlon. Across all events, students demonstrated determination, sportsmanship, and a willingness to challenge themselves.
One of the highlights of the day was seeing students encourage and support one another, celebrating effort and achievement regardless of the result. While today's performances will help determine the students selected to represent Orchard Park at District Athletics, the most important achievement was the way our students embraced every opportunity, had a go, and gave their very best.
Congratulations to all students for their outstanding participation and for making the day such a positive celebration of sport, effort, and school spirit.
YEAR 3 CAMP
Our Year 3 students returned from their camp at Gilwell Park this week, and what an incredible experience it was! The weather was absolutely perfect, providing the ideal backdrop for a fantastic first camp adventure.
Students embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm, courage, and positivity. It was wonderful to see them stepping outside their comfort zones and trying new experiences such as the flying fox, the giant climbing wall, canoeing, and hut building. Throughout the camp, our students demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and kindness, supporting one another and celebrating each other's achievements.
This was our first time running a standalone Year 3 camp as a one-night experience, and it proved to be the perfect introduction to off-site camps for our youngest campers. We are incredibly proud of the way our students represented Orchard Park Primary School.
A huge thank you to the staff who attended camp and made this memorable experience possible. Their commitment, care, and enthusiasm ensured that every student felt supported and had the opportunity to thrive.

PARENT TEACHER INTERVIEWS
Thank you to all families who attended our recent Parent Teacher Interviews.
The interviews were extremely well attended, providing valuable opportunities for parents and carers to connect with teachers and gain insights into their child's academic progress, wellbeing, and development.
Strong partnerships between home and school play a vital role in supporting student success, and we greatly appreciate the time families took to engage in these important conversations. Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to your child's learning journey.
