Rugby Union Diocesean Trials

Congratulation to Barnaby Luelf for his selection in the Dio Rugby Union Team.  He will now compete in the Polding trials in Forbes on the 29th June.

State 7's Rugby Finals

On Friday the 22nd of May the Catherine McAuley Rugby 7's Regional champions ventured of to Sydney to play in the state finals.  It was a rainy day with some great rugby played.  Catherine McAuley were able to reach the semi-finals of this competiton. Unfortunately they were defeated in a great game by St Columba's from Adamstown, (the winners of the day).  This was a great performance by the team being ranked in the top 4 primary rugby schools in NSW.  

A special mention must go to all the parents who were able to come and support the team on the day.  Without your help these days don't happen.
