Leadership Report

As the year draws to a close, it is a pleasure to reflect on another fantastic year at Magill School, filled with many fond memories and significant achievements. Our students have embraced challenges, experienced joy in their learning, and have grown both academically and personally. The progress and resilience shown by our students this year has been truly impressive.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our entire school community—our dedicated staff, enthusiastic students, and supportive parents. Magill is a wonderful place to learn and work because of the people who contribute their passion and commitment every day.
We also say farewell to our Year 6 students and to others who are leaving the Magill community. I hope you take with you many cherished memories and experiences from your time at Magill and wish you every happiness and success in the future.
This year, we also farewell several valued staff members: Parniyan Ilkhani, Deb Johnson, Josie DeCorso, Lachlan Mudie and Florin Velea. We thank them sincerely for their contributions and dedication to our school and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
A special farewell goes to Kasey Thorne, who has served as Assistant Principal for many years with professionalism, care, and commitment. Kasey has made a lasting impact on our school, and we wish her every success and happiness as she embarks on new opportunities.
Looking ahead to 2026, we are delighted to welcome new faces to our team: Rommi Clark, Lilli Carman, and James Pritchard. We look forward to the skills and energy they will bring to Magill.
Finally, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a wonderful and safe New Year. Enjoy the holidays, recharge, and I look forward to another exciting year ahead.
Enjoy the latest version of Inside Magill.
Happy holidays!
