70th Mother’s Club Concert

Such a fabulous night made up of 19 cast including the amazing Chris Tonkin as Compare. Sell out night with over 200 audience members. Started with past members of 13 ladies ranging from 76 years to 94 years of age opening the show.

Congratulations to Annette Hunt who has participated in the concert for the last 30 years, great effort.

I would like to sincerely thank Alex Holt and Dede Williams who worked extremely hard to put this show on and got us all together to celebrate our 70th concert. Such a mammoth effort from everyone involved over the years to get us to 70, an amazing achievement. 

Thank you to Errin, Robyn and secondary students Alexis, Chelsea, Kayla and Lily for helping in the kitchen and getting our delicious supper ready, to Dakota for helping back stage and to Tyson who coordinated the music.  Thank you to Leane, Lyn, Joan, Toni and Dakota for helping on the door

I would also like to thank the following businesses for donating the awesome prizes, Wedderburn Produce and Garden, Steels Butchers, Carlie Clothing, Len Dierickx and Toni Cramp.   

The annual concert is a major fundraiser for Parents Association, this year raising $3,700 on the night which enables us to help fund camps and excursions for Wedderburn College students.

Here’s to another 70 years.

New Hats

This is another initiative from Parents Association. Thanks to several fundraising efforts this year we have been able to purchase new reversible bucket style hats for every student. The hats have Wedderburn College embroidered on one side and the house colours of Ansett or Jacka on the other. Thank you to all members of the Parents Association for their involvement with fundraising this year. 

Parents Association are in need of new members. If you would like to join our group of volunteers and assist with the amazing work we do to support the extra-curricular activities for our children please contact Melinda Springthorpe on 54943 011.

Parents Association Christmas Raffle

Raffle Tickets have been handed out to the eldest student in your family. 

Tickets are $1.00 each, please sell both sides of the tickets and return the tickets along with money to the front office by Friday 5th December, 2025.

 If each family could please donate an item for our hamper, it would be greatly appreciated. We should then be able to put together multiple hampers. These donations can be left at the front office.  If you need any more raffle tickets please contact the front office on 54943 011.
