Principal's Update

Hello everyone,

Welcome back for Term 2. I hope everyone had a restful break.

At the end of Term 1, we farewelled Eve and thanked her for the outstanding work she has done in the garden, both in her paid role and as a volunteer. Fortunately, Eve will still be around the school from time to time. This week, we welcomed Hadley Cole as our new garden educator. Hadley will be familiar to many of you through her work with Connecting Country, and we are looking forward to working with her.

Scott will also be leaving us at the end of the month to take up a new role. We thank him for his contribution to Taradale and wish him all the best. We are currently advertising for a teacher for the Year 2/3 class and aim to finalise recruitment shortly to allow for a thorough handover.

Chris will be taking three weeks of long service leave from Monday, returning on Monday 18 May. During this time, Jess will be Acting Principal full-time.

Breakfast Club Volunteers

We are seeking additional volunteers to help run Breakfast Club each morning from 8:30–9:00am.

Taradale Primary School participates in the Foodbank Victoria Breakfast Club program, which provides food at no cost for students. While all students are welcome, we rely on volunteers to make this possible.

If you are able to assist or would like more information, please contact the office.
