Book Week Update – Term 3

We have an exciting week of activities planned to celebrate Book Week in Week 7! An in-school activity notice with further details will be sent home in the coming days.

Please note that there will be no Book Week dress-up day this year.

Author & Special Guest Visits

• Tuesday 25 August: James Phelan, Author (Years 5-6)
• Thursday 27 August: Tim Mason, Magician (Prep-Year 1)
• Friday 28 August: Idan Ben-Barak, Author (Years 2-4)

A QR code is attached for families wishing to purchase books by Idan Ben-Barak, which will be available for him to sign on the day of his visit. Unfortunately, James Phelan’s publisher does not have copies of his books available for purchase at this time. However, students are welcome to bring along their own James Phelan books to have signed during his visit. Please note that students will only be able to have books signed by the author visiting their own year level.

Book Week Competition

Students are invited to redesign the front cover of their favourite book. Entries must be the student's own original work (no assistance from family members) and can be completed on A4 or A3 paper. Entries are due to the library by the beginning of Week 7, with prizes awarded for the best entry in each year level.
