Golden Heritage Club Members Visit

Last Friday, members of the Golden Heritage Club, representing graduating classes from 1956 to 1976, returned to Trinity for the much-loved “Back to the Classroom” event. The Old Boys enjoyed sharing stories and memories of their school days with Year 6 students, who eagerly interviewed them about their experiences.

Following the interviews, students accompanied their new friends to Gibney Hall, where conversations continued over lunch ahead of the Junior School Assembly.

Special guest Peter Torre (’89) spoke about the history and evolution of the Trinity crests before presenting the TOBA President’s Award for TC Spirit to Harrison (6 Green).

We extend our sincere thanks to our wonderful Old Boys for returning to the classroom and helping bring Trinity’s rich history to life and keeping the TC spirit alive. We also thank our Year 6 students and Junior School staff for embracing and supporting this enjoyable and meaningful event.

Toba Winter Sports Day

It was perfect weather at Waterford Playing Fields as players and supporters turned up to the annual TOBA Winter Sports Day on Sunday, 19 July.

TOBA was triumphant with wins across three out of four sports played accepting the ‘Brendan Ryan Cup’ again this year.

A big thank you to Brendan Ryan (’91), the name behind the winner’s trophy, and his carer, for joining us and assisting with presentations.

For those not aware of the history behind the cup, Brendan Ryan was diagnosed in 1989 with leukaemia whilst in Year 10 at Trinity College. He was left with severe physical impairments and confined to a wheelchair following medical treatment during his long battle with the illness. To recognise Brendan’s fighting spirit, the Brendan Ryan Cup began in 2001.  Brendan is a remarkable Old Boy who continues to inspire others through his courage, resilience and achievements.   

Thank you to all those who helped and attended. It truly was a wonderful opportunity to see the TC Spirit on display.

PSA Old Boys Golf 2026

Annual PSA Old Boys Golf Day to be held on Friday, 30 October 2026 at Cottesloe Golf Club. Event portal is PSA Old Boys Golf 2026.

Registrations open on the 1 August 2026 at 7pm. This year will have a field of 128 players only (Golflink Number required). This event fills very quickly, and it is recommended that you register early to avoid missing out.

If you plan to play with a group, then it might be a good option that you appoint one person to register all players (4 players maximum). You will need names, golf link number, mobile number, email address & school attended to complete the registration.

Cost:

Cottesloe GC Members: $140

Non members Cottesloe GC: $200

Cost includes: Light Lunch, 18 holes golf & Presentation Dinner

Payment required via credit card.

Priority will be given to previous participants when registrations open via online only on 1 August 2026.
