PE Report

It’s a busy term in PE and sport at Macedon PS.

The grade 3 to 6 students participated so well in our House Swimming sports a few weeks ago. Thanks so much to all the parents who came along to help and support their children. Last week we had our successful swimmers on that day taking part in the district swimming sports in Sunbury. Once again, the students represented the school extremely well. There were lots of ribbons on show at the end of the day. Well done to Ted S and Hector Mc who have made it through to the Division swimming event on March 12th in Melton.

Last Friday we had our House Cross Country event at Tony Clarke Reserve in Macedon. It was a perfect day for the event and the students performed really well for their houses. The results will be announced at our School assembly on Friday. Thanks so much to all the parents who assisted on the day.

The other event we have this term is the House Athletics at Dixon Field in Gisborne. This event is on March 25th.

In PE at the moment we are doing tennis. As well as practising the forehand and backhand, we are learning volleys and how to do a basic serve. The older students have been developing their game play.
