As a Fire Carrier school, we again supported the Opening the Doors foundation on their annual fundraising day, August 4th.
It was fantastic to see students dressed in the colours of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags, and we had a great turnout for our extra 'Together We Walk' running club. Thanks also to Mrs K for baking some delicious Lemon Myrtle Scones for parents to enjoy at our Saints and Spoons Cafe on the day!
To celebrate National Science Week, we had Emma from Street Science visit our school to teach us about science, through experiment demonstrations.
Highlights included, when she inflated an air dancer using dry ice and when Mrs Jeffreys blew the lid off a paint can and it erupted in flames!
