Grade 3-4 Camp

Our Grade 3 and 4 students recently attended the Murray Life Adventures Camp, here are some of our student's camp reflections.

Grade 3/4 Murray Life Adventures Camp Reflections. 

On camp I was so, so, so, so scared on the flying fox but when you do it, it is so much fun. My favourite thing was rock climbing. In the rooms I was on the top bunk. It was so hot in the rooms. Arloh V Gr 3 

Camp was so fun and the flying fox was scary to get to but was so fun. The giant swing was a little bit scary but I still did it! My muscles hurt from the rock climbing. We got so much cordial and the food was yummy and we had ice cream. It was so great and fun bush surfing and Tom M walked the plank!  There was a lagoon with GIANT SPRINKLERS which were REALLY FUN and the place we went to was Murray Life Adventures. Daniel Gr4 

On camp my FAVOURITE thing was the giant swing and the flying fox. People had to pull you up and brace themselves ready for when we pull the little black string. The flying fox was fun because you got wet and it felt like you were flying for real. You had to get stopped by a thing, that it felt like you would fall off. Hannah Gr 4 

Camp activities - Bush Surfing, Rock Climbing, Abseiling, Giant Swing, Flying Fox, Giant Sprinklers, Murray Life Adventures. Rock Climbing and Bush Surfing are fun but my favourite was the Giant Sprinklers and the food. Harper B Gr 4 

At camp we did lots of stuff and it was a lot of amazing fun. Isabelle Gr 3

Camp was good and my favourite thing was being with my friends. I loved camp so much. We explored in the big Tee Pees. I liked the tents kids slept inside, and we were in the Echidna tent. I liked playing all the things with my friends, it made all the activities fun. I loved everything and I liked the giant swing, and we did skipping and we were group 1. Jetter Gr 3 

My camp report - My best thing was rock climbing; I even did the hard course. Also being with my friends and sleeping in the cabin was great fun. All the activities were amazing. I even did Gaga ball. I was pretty good at it. We all had great fun. My friends were fun. Every person I know had a really great time. Jonty Gr 4 

On camp my favourite things were the giant swing and bush surfing. I loved going up on the giant swing, but my most favorite thing was the bush surfing. I loved camping with my friends. Layla Gr 3 

On camp, my favourite activity was the archery. It had big, professional bows. My highest score was very near the target. Maddie Dare Gr 3 

My favourite thing on camp was when I went on the flying fox and the giant swing. When you went on the flying fox you had to put a harness on and a helmet. When it was your go, you got given a fox that you had to carry up all of the stairs and wait for the person in front of you to go. When it was your turn, you had to stand on this metal box. When you got on the metal box, Redfin the instructor would check your harness and make sure that you could go on the flying fox. They would put the fox on the zipline and then put the clip on you and then get the signal that you could go and then you would feel like you were flying, and you got caught at the end and would climb down a ladder and get unhooked. Then you walked back to give the fox to the next person. On the giant swing you got hooked up and the other people in your team would pull you up. When you got up as high as you could go, then you would pull a black rope and go flying and then get caught and climb down a ladder. The End. Matilda Gr 4 

On camp I got the courage to go on the flying fox. It was AMAZING! I got really scared when I got up there, then went down and after a few minutes I went up again and when I got up, Redfin [Leader] set me up and pushed me. Away I went. Meabh  Gr 3 

On camp my favourite thing was the giant swing. The Bush surfing was also lots of fun. You had to hold on to handles and push off the bank and surf from island to island and Kynan was on one island to help us and Alene was on the other island to catch us. We had to walk the plank! Then we were allowed to jump in the pond. Which was great cause it was so hot. Oliver Gr 3 

On camp my favourite thing was the flying fox because you go really high then low. Camp was fun! Riva Gr 4 

At camp we did fun activities like flying fox, rock climbing and abseiling. It's too fun but half scary. Sanjo Gr 3 

I loved camp. Camp was really fun. I liked the giant swing it was scary. When you pulled the rope you started shaking for a looong! Time it was veeeerry scary. Sonny Gr 3 

Last week I went on camp and slept in the cabins with my friends. We had lots of fun. I played with my friends. We played trivia. I was so tired I just could not get to sleep. I tried my best and it was all about having fun. I did the flying fox and bush surfing - it was so fun. Gaga ball was so fun too. Tommy J. Gr 4

At camp I loved The Flying Fox and The Giant Swing. The reason I loved The Giant Swing because I was the first person to go on it, it was really fun, and I went to the top. The reason I loved The Flying Fox was because it was really high up and I went upside down. Bodhi Gr 4 

I loved the giant swing. It was awesome. I was a bit nervous, and I only went to the middle. Ava Gr 4 

My favourite part of camp was probably gaga ball and getting wet. Thomas M Gr 4 

My favourite thing about camp was getting wet on such a hot day. Levi Gr 4 

We did a giant swing which I loved because you could go as high as you wanted, and it was very safe and it was fun. Harper C Gr 4 

On camp my favourite activities were the flying fox, bush surfing and Gaga Ball.  The chicken schnitzel dinner was delicious.  Harry Gr 4
