Principal's Message

Dear Families,

As Term 2 draws to a close, we’d like to thank all families for their support over the past ten weeks. It’s been a busy and productive term, and we’re proud of the efforts of every one of our students and staff.

We came together for our whole school End of Term assembly on Thursday. It was a great chance to gather and celebrate some of the wonderful talents in our school. The Prep to Grade 2 Dance Group and Grade 3 to 6 Dance Group performed with energy and enthusiasm in their final practice before the Southern Tasmanian Dancing Eisteddfod. We thank Mrs Hickey for preparing them so well, with countless rehearsals during break times. We also wished Mrs Hickey well as she commences maternity leave. The Choir and Marimba Group also took to the stage and delivered a fantastic joint performance of I Ain’t Worried by OneRepublic, which was a real highlight. 

We are pleased to announce that our Grade 3 to 6 Dance Group received a Highly Commended award and our Prep to Grade 2 Dance Group were awarded Second Place in the Southern Tasmanian Dancing Eisteddfod.

Thank you again for your ongoing support. We wish all families a safe and relaxing holiday and look forward to seeing everyone back for Term 3.
