Principal's Report 

 We, at Miners Rest Primary School, would like to acknowledge the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin Nation.

We pay our respects and thank the Wadawurrung people.

May we share your land. We promise to look after it, as well as the animals and people too.

Welcome back to our happy campers!

We welcome back some very tired, but happy campers from Roses Gap. From all accounts, the wildlife was prolific, the activities were amazing and the company was awesome. Lots of friendships were forged, connections strengthened between students and staff and food was delicious as well. I want to sincerely thank the staff attending camp for organising their personal lives to attend, thank families for their support in the lead up to camp,  and particularly thank our students for living our school values throughout the camp experience.

Next, we farewell our Year 4 students and wish them all the very best as they enjoy a seaside experience at Wyuna, Queenscliff.

Special Assembly

We are very excited about our special assembly, happening this Friday, May 17 at 2:30 pm. This assembly will celebrate the special women in out lives that we all have and will acknowledge the support and care that they have given that has made us the person that we are today.

If you are able to, we warmly invite you to join us this Friday.

Please note, that due to time, School Stars will be presented at the following assembly, May 31.

Thank you to our Education Support Staff

This Friday, we will acknowledge the wonderful work of our Education Support Staff. These special people include our Administration Staff, our Grounds Staff, our First Aid Staff, and the staff that support our students and staff in the classrooms and beyond. We value these very important people that make our school the amazing place that it is for our students and our teaching staff. If you are in the presence of any of our Education Support Staff at any time, please take a moment to reach out and acknowledge the incredible work that they do. We are thankful for them every single day.
