SLRC News
October holiday break
The Library will be open for Year 12 students over the Spring holiday break, but only for the last week (Tuesday 7th October to Friday 10th October). The SLRC will be closed for the first week of the holiday break, and Monday 6th October being the public holiday.
This is to help Year 12 in their preparation for the HSC examinations.
Opening hours will be from 8.30am to 4.30pm weekdays.
The SLRC will then reopen on Tuesday 14th October, when Term 4 resumes for students.
While the SLRC has HSC resources and past HSC exams, there are also HSC resources at BMCC library branches – Blaxland, Springwood and Katoomba. Details can be found on the BMCC library website: BMCC Library
If you click on “Services” at the top of the page, you will then find a tab labelled “Young Adults”. The next tab below this will be called “Digital Library”, which shows all the digital resources available to assist students with study and HSC resources.
The last tab under “Young Adults”, is labelled “HSC collections” and lists all available Library HSC items for students to borrow.
From the Young Adults page, you can also Book a Computer or Study Room for use.
