Music Soirée – A Wonderful Evening

Last Thursday evening, our students shared their talents at the High School Music Soirée. Each performance was delivered with dedication and confidence, creating a memorable and uplifting evening of music.

We are proud of the effort our students put into preparing their items and are grateful to our Music staff for their support and guidance. Thank you also to families and friends for joining us in celebrating the achievements of our young musicians.

Robyn Glindemann's End of Term Flute Concert

Flute students from Years 5 to 12 performed beautifully at the Flute Concert last Tuesday evening, 16 September.

The program featured a wide range of music, from Olivia Rodrigo and Elton John to Schubert, Elgar, Handel, and Queen, offering something for everyone to enjoy.

The evening included both solo performances and ensemble items, with highlights such as Pomp and Circumstance, Wooden Shoe Dance, and the finale, Spring from The Four Seasons. A special mention goes to Frankie, who gave her final performance at BMGS before graduating this week.

Sincere thanks to Mrs Robyn Glindemann (Flute Tutor) for organising the concert and performing Harry’s Wondrous World from Harry Potter, and to Mrs Julie Cooney for her accompaniment on the night.

Bravo to all our flautists for their outstanding performances.
