Music

 Students will learn specifically about the percussion family with our KABOOM incursion Thursday July 16, being a highlight early in the term.

PE

In PE this term, students will be refining their current knowledge of throwing, catching and kicking. 

More emphasis will be placed on the development of proper running techniques, to prepare them for their upcoming Mini Olympics Day in Term 4.

ART

In Term 3, Year 1 & 2 students will create a variety of mixed media artworks that focus on the properties of materials and Earth’s resources. The artworks will involve drawing, painting, textiles and the construction of recycled materials.

STEAM

In STEAM this term, students will investigate how different materials behave when subjected to movement, force and speed. Through hands-on design challenges, students will predict, test and evaluate how materials perform, using familiar construction resources such as LEGO and other classroom materials. 

LOTE

 In Mandarin this term, students will be learning sentence structures for conversations about their favourite sports and their family members.
