Short Courses

Our short courses have now come to an end with Year 11 students completing their First Aid qualification and the Fire Awareness course.  Thank you to all the external trainers who came in and delivered these courses.

Progress reports

Mid-term progress updates went out last week with most students tracking satisfactorily for this point in their training.  Those students that have been accepted into Certificate III in Agriculture and/or Pork Production - you need to ensure you are completing your Certificate II in Agriculture as soon as possible.  All students need to ensure they are completing the practical components and associated paperwork and finishing off knowledge tests on LMS or in the paper booklets.  The faster you complete your Cert II next year, the less likely you'll need to return in Term 4!

Certificate III Induction Day

The Cert III inductions will be happening on Wednesday 18 November.  This will consist of all Cert III students attending the farm classroom from 8:00am to 12.20pm.  Information presented will include expectations, timelines, due dates and an emphasis on self-driven learning and time management.  Pork students will then attend a class with Miss Read to be delivered one of the booklets required for that qualification.
