Class of 2026
What a way to start Term 4!
A number of Year 12 students kicked off their final Term at MacKillop Catholic College with a 'senior sunrise' at Seven Mile Beach.
Coming together as a year group to watch the gorgeous sunrise and a few even braved a cold dip in the water.
Year 11/12 Celebration of Excellence
To kick off the festivities for our Senior Secondary students, the entire Year 11/12 cohort gathered with staff, parents and caregivers to honour their academic efforts in class throughout the year. In addition to recognising the work of our Student Leadership Team, who have worked diligently to serve our College community this year.
A special mention to Marli (Year 12), who received the inaugural St Joseph's Medallion to celebrate her work in the community and the amazing achievement of receiving the St Joseph's Certificate for each year of her enrolment at MacKillop.
Recently, students across the entire College watched the premiere of a very special video that celebrates our Year 12 cohort. Sharing "Where will you be in 10 years?", we cannot wait to see what the future holds for these students and the exciting journey that lies ahead.
A big thank you to Jeremy (Year 12) for his efforts in putting this video together. What a lovely testament to both Jeremy's amazing videography talents and the wonderful Year 12 students we have here at MacKillop. View the full video celebrating the Class of 2026 here.
Year 12 Graduation Assembly and Guard of Honour
Last week, we honoured our Year 12 students for the final time, with special House Assemblies before we gathered as a whole College community for the Year 12 Graduation Assembly.
As they exited the College for the final time, surrounded by a guard of honour of peers, teachers, and families, the students marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. Ready to take on the world with pride and purpose as MacKillop alumni.
To our Class of 2026 graduates. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours; always treasure your time and memories of MacKillop.
Graduation Mass
Gathering at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, the Class of 2026 marked their graduation with a special ceremony, receiving a candle and graduation stole while reflecting on the friendships, experiences and achievements that have defined their journey.
Congratulations to all our graduates. As you embark on new adventures, may you carry the spirit of MacKillop with you and treasure the memories created along the way.
Year 12 Graduation Dinner
Kicking up their heels and celebrating in style!
Our Year 12 students wrapped up their graduation celebrations with a memorable Graduation Dinner held last week at Wrest Point Casino. With a dance floor, a delicious meal and plenty of laughter, it was the perfect way to mark the end of an important chapter.
We wish all students the very best as they begin their exam period over the coming weeks.
