Celebrating the Class of 2026

The Class of 2026 has been an important part of a significant period of growth at MacKillop Catholic College.

As only the third Year 12 cohort to graduate from the College, these students have helped shape what senior schooling looks like at MacKillop. They were the first group to move into the Julian building and have played a major role in creating the positive and connected senior culture we see today.

What has stood out about this group has been their independence. They have organised their own events, created their own traditions and approached their final years with a strong sense of ownership. They have shown younger students what it means to make the most of the opportunities available and to contribute positively to the community around them.

Their future pathways are as varied as their interests. Students are pursuing careers and further study in areas including teaching, nursing, engineering, law, construction trades, defence, agriculture, physiotherapy, music, sports management and many others. Together, they reflect the diversity of pathways available to young people at MacKillop and the many ways success can be achieved.

Importantly, the journey is not quite over for many of our students. Our Year 12 students still have their final examinations ahead of them, and we wish them every success over the coming weeks. We know the effort they have invested throughout their schooling and are confident they will approach this final challenge with the same determination they have shown throughout the year.

We also acknowledge the families, staff and friends who have supported these young people along the way. Graduation is never an individual achievement, and we are grateful for the role our wider community has played in helping this cohort reach this milestone. To the Class of 2026, thank you for what you have contributed to MacKillop Catholic College. You have helped shape our story, and we look forward to seeing where your own stories lead from here. Good luck with your exams, enjoy the final weeks of your school journey, and know that you will always be part of the MacKillop community.

God bless you!
