SCS Dance Eisteddfod

The OLF Dance Ensemble represented our school with excellence at the SCS Dance Eisteddfod held at MSJ on Wednesday and Friday. Their performances were nothing short of outstanding, earning 1st place in both the Jazz and Lyrical routines.

Both routines also received a Standby Ticket for a potential performance at the SCS Showcase in June. Even more impressively, the Lyrical dance group was awarded a GOLDEN TICKET, securing an automatic place in the showcase as one of the top routines selected across the competition.

We are incredibly proud of our dancers for their dedication, teamwork, and exceptional achievement. Their expressive performances even brought a tear to Mrs Masetto’s eye. We could not be prouder of these students and the tremendous hard work they have poured into these routines.

AFL NSW

A massive congratulations to Fleur L for an incredible achievement at the AFL NSW School Sport Unit Girls Australian Football Initiative. Fleur braved a long and grueling couple of days of competition, showcasing outstanding skill, grit, and determination. All her hard work paid off, with Fleur and her team placing 1st overall! This is a huge achievement, and we are incredibly proud of the way Fleur represented our school. Well done, Fleur! 

A huge congratulations to Hunter S, who recently represented our school at the prestigious NSWPSSA Boys Australian Football Championship. Competing at a state level is an incredible milestone that requires immense dedication, skill, and hard work. Hunter gave it his absolute all on the field and represented our school community with great pride and sportsmanship. Phenomenal effort, Hunter, we are so proud of you! 

MacKillop Netball Trial 

A huge shoutout to Fleur L, Kayla M and Marni T who took to the courts on May 7th for the MacKillop Netball Trials. They faced tough competition but showed incredible team spirit and effort. Thank you for representing our school community so beautifully, girls. We are so proud of you! 

Sydney Rugby Union Trial 

A big congratulations to Archer B, Asher H, and Jasper T, who represented our school on May 18th at the Sydney Rugby Union Trials. The boys gave it their absolute all on the field, showing fantastic sportsmanship and determination against some tough competition. Thank you for representing our school community so proudly, boys! 

Sydney Touch Football Trial

On Wednesday, May 13th, a talented group of students, Archer B, Indie M, Luca R, Jagger R, Charlotte P, and Annabelle S, represented our school at the Sydney Touch Football Trials. Everyone played with incredible effort and wonderful team spirit. Thank you for representing our school with pride. 

A special congratulations to Indie M, Luca R, and Charlotte P, who performed exceptionally well and have progressed to the next round of trials! Best of luck in the next stage, and well done to all of our talented players for making us proud.
