Congratulations to Cleo K with the support of her fellow school captains, Charlotte C, Noah W and Rishon S who won the annual City of Kingston Junior Mayor Competition!
On Thursday 7th May our school captains participated in the annual City of Kingston Junior Mayor Competition. 24 schools from our local community competed in the event to present a two minute speech on the topic of three ways our council could get young people involved in activities, programs and decisions that impact our community. Our head speaker Cleo was supported by Charlotte, Noah and Rishon and the team worked incredibly well in the build up to develop their speech and props for the big competition. Cleo will now spend the next twelve months attending key events and council meetings where she will work alongside the Mayor of Kingston, Miss Georgina Oxley and get to have a say in key decisions made by the local council. Congratulations! We know you will learn a lot from this amazing opportunity.

The District Cross Country was a fantastic success, with students demonstrating determination, resilience, and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the event. Congratulations to all participants for their effort, commitment, and achievement on the day; we have a few make it through to Division.

Meet the newest members of our Prep family, Zippy and Mickey!
Our students have loved getting hands on with their learning, investigating the life cycle and habitat needs of spiny stick insects. We are so excited to learn about and care for our class pets.

Our Preps spent Friday enjoying the sunshine on excursion at Myuna Farm. It was a wonderful day of learning beyond the classroom walls, filled with curiosity, excitement, and hands on experiences. The children impressed us with their thoughtful questions and enthusiasm throughout the day.
