Japan Festival Day

What a wonderful day we had on Friday celebrating our annual Japan Day! A highlight was a surprise visit from Pikachu and his friend ‘Uma,’ who joined us in celebrating the Year of the Horse at our assemby. It was fantastic to see so many creative costumes on display as we gathered on the basketball court to dance the Tankō Bushi together.

Throughout the day, students enthusiastically participated in workshops including kendo, taiko drumming, and manga, while the Japan Shop was bustling with activity—thank you for your continued support.

Our cherry blossom display in the Burrow grew beautifully across the day, featuring artwork from all year levels. It has now become a calm and inviting space for students to pause and enjoy the blossoms.
