Staff News
Congratulations to Mrs Charlotte Hoogeveen and her husband, Willy, on the safe arrival of their beautiful baby girl, Vivienne "Vivi" Jane Hoogeveen.
Vivi made her grand entrance on 30 June at 8:08 pm, weighing 3.2 kg. We are delighted to share this wonderful news and celebrate this special milestone with the Hoogeveen family.
We wish Charlotte, Willy, and baby Vivi every happiness as they begin this exciting new chapter together. May their days be filled with love, joy, precious memories, and all the wonderful moments that come with welcoming a new little one into the world.
Sacrament of First Eucharist
First Eucharist Key Dates Term 3 2026:
Monday 13 July 2026: Register for First Eucharist 2026
Friday 31 July 2026: Reflection Day
On Friday 31 July all Year Four students will be participating in a First Eucharist Reflection Day. This includes all students from 4EO and 4MD and any candidates from the Parish. A variety of fun, reflective and prayerful activities have been planned as part of this special day. We will also attend Mass at 9.15am and parents are more than welcome to join us. As this is a special day, students are allowed to wear ‘free’ dress. At approximately 1pm we will go to Alexandra Gardens for lunch (weather permitting); children can bring a picnic rug and their own lunch. If the weather is inclement we will picnic in the MPR or other sheltered area.
Saturday 1 August (6pm) Sunday 2 August (9:30am) Sunday 9 August (9:30am): First Eucharist Masses
We are looking forward to gathering as a community and celebrating our candidate’s reception of the Sacrament of Eucharist at the Parish Mass on either Saturday 1 August 6pm, Sunday 2 August 9:30am or Sunday 9 August 9:30am. A reminder to complete the nForma form indicating your preferred date.
We are looking forward to supporting your child through this next stage of their faith journey.

2026 School Closure Days
As was communicated to families last year...
* Time in Lieu (TIL)
The current Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (the Agreement) has a formal time in lieu (TIL) process for teachers. The Agreement provides that a principal may require a teacher to undertake work and attend a school activity outside the normal hours of attendance (i.e., in excess of the 38 hours or normal hours for a part-time teacher) and when this occurs, it will attract TIL.
Principals should prepare for the accrual and acquittal of TIL through their annual planning process. The timing of the acquittal of TIL is at the discretion of the principal, having regard to the operational needs of the school and causing the least disruption to the educational program of the school.
Principals may elect to acquit TIL through designating days during the year on which all staff and students are not required to attend school.
