Prayer

Beginning of Term 3 Prayer 

Dear Lord,

As we begin a new term, we pause to give thanks for the opportunity to learn, grow, and journey together once again. After the break, we return with fresh hopes, new goals, and the chance to make a positive difference in our school community.

Term 3 invites us to embrace new challenges with courage and determination. There will be moments of success that fill us with pride, and there may also be times when learning feels difficult. In each of these moments, we are reminded that growth comes through perseverance, kindness, and supporting one another.

Let us remember that every person we meet carries their own joys and struggles. May we choose patience over frustration, encouragement over criticism, and compassion over judgement. May our words bring hope, our actions reflect respect, and our hearts remain open to those who need a friend.

As we begin this new chapter, let us ask God to walk beside us each day, guiding our decisions, strengthening us when we face challenges, and inspiring us to use our gifts in service of others.

We ask this in Your name.

Our Acknowledgment of Country

We will continue our connection with Country through respectful play, by caring for our community and the environment and engaging in learning that challenges injustice and leads change.
