Principal's message

It is hard to believe we have reached the end of another term. It has been a busy one, with lots happening across the school and plenty for us to celebrate.
A big thank you to all of the families who came along today to help us celebrate the end of term and joined in the activities. It was lovely to have so many people there. A special thank you also to the volunteers who helped with the BBQ and the clean-up. The day would not have been possible without you.
Across the term, students have been involved in Book Week, excursions, incursions, Paddock to Plate, Bush Play, sport, clubs and lots of learning in the classroom. It has also been great to see the resurfaced courts completed and back in use.
We have had some wonderful learning achievements to celebrate as well, including our strong 2026 NAPLAN results, particularly in Reading and Writing across Years 3 and 5.
Looking ahead to Term 4, Bike Ed will begin for all students. We are aiming to run this on Thursday afternoons. If your child has a bike and helmet at home, we would really appreciate these being brought into school. We have secure storage available in the sports shed, so bikes can stay at school during the program.
All students will be involved, with different groups based on skill and confidence, from students who are just learning to ride through to our more experienced riders. The focus will be on building confidence, bike-handling skills and safe riding habits.
Thank you to our staff for everything they have put into the term, and to our families for your continued support of the school.
I hope everyone enjoys a well-earned break and I look forward to seeing everyone back for Term 4.
Warm regards
Rowena Goldsmith
Principal
