Tally’s (DEFINITELY) Got Talent!

Tally was bursting with talent this term as our Student Council proudly presented Tally’s Got Talent! Open to students in Years 3–6, the competition attracted a huge number of entries, with heats held over three weeks during lunch breaks. Each heat drew fantastic crowds of students who came along to cheer on their friends and show their support.

We were treated to an incredible variety of acts, including singing, dancing, comedy, bands, original musical compositions, unicycling and even speedy Rubik’s Cube solving!

After three exciting weeks of heats, 19 talented finalists took to the stage for the Grand Final on Friday. The Student Council did an outstanding job running the event from start to finish, managing equipment, working backstage, hosting the show and organising the performers.

A huge congratulations to our Tally’s Got Talent winners, and to every student who had the courage to get up on stage and share their talent. What a show!

SHOWSTOPPER AWARD – The Great Monterino (Monty) – Unicycle act

CREATIVE EDGE AWARD – Dancing in the Rain (Annabelle, Daphne & Emily) – Self-composition piece played on the keyboard accompanied by dancers

PERFORMANCE PRO AWARD – Lightning Strikes (Knox & Charles) – Drums, electric guitar & singing rendition of Long Way to the Top

OVERALL WINNER – Holly – Lyrical dance
