We have enjoyed another wonderful term!  Thank you very much to our school community for your continued support.  We consider ourselves very fortunate to be part of a positive, caring and friendly community.  

Outstanding Student Conduct

Through The Tally Way, our whole school wellbeing and positive behaviour program, our students learn about habits and actions that are conducive to wellbeing for learning. On a daily basis, we are impressed by the outstanding conduct of our students who demonstrate respect and care for others and enthusiasm and dedication towards their learning. 

The Tally Way is synonymous with positive attitudes and behaviours for very good reason and our school families are an invaluable role in maintaining this positive school culture.  Parents and carers reinforce school expectations and praise and encourage their children for showing The Tally Way e.g. when children are being persistent, resilient, kind, optimistic etc.

P&C Colour Fun Run 

Our T3 major fundraising event, the Colour Fun Run was exceptional! A huge thank you to our wonderful P&C for organising this fantastic event, the many volunteers and staff who helped, Mr Gaggin as the school event coordinator and our school community for their generous support.  Mr Hill, our P&C President, did a tremendous job leading this important fundraiser and we thank him for his commitment, contribution and drive towards supporting us to raise funds for a new playground for our senior students. 

It was a fun-filled day, with smiles, laughter and plenty of colour. Our students thoroughly enjoyed themselves, creating many wonderful memories.  It meant a lot to us to have so many parents and carers in attendance, supporting their children and our school.

The much anticipated sliming of Deputy Principal Mr Gaggin was certainly a highlight, creating a lot of excitement and cheering from the students and school community members who watched him get completely covered in slime.  Mr Gaggin is a great sport and we appreciate his willingness to do this to help our fundraising towards a new playground.

Prep and Year 1 Swimming Program

In weeks 7 and 8, students in Prep and Year 1 enjoyed participating in our swimming program and learning about how to apply water safety practices.

Father's Day Stall

Thank you to our wonderful P&C and volunteers for their hard work making this year's Father's Days stall a huge success for our students! We are very grateful to Paige, our P&C Vice President, who was the lead coordinator and did an outstanding job making this service for families possible.

Prep 2027

It was wonderful to connect with our 2027 Prep students during the Term 3 interviews in Week 8.  Information from interviews helps us to get to know our future students so that we can be well-prepared to support their smooth transition to school.

Details about upcoming events is provided to parents and carers of enrolled students, so if your child is starting school next year and you haven’t enrolled them yet, please enrol ASAP so they don’t miss this important preparation time. 

Congratulations Dwyer 

Congratulations to Dwyer for winning the house rewards activity this term by earning the most Tiger Paws.  Tiger Paws are tickets that are awarded to students in recognition for positive behaviour.  The houses were very close this term, so it looks like any house could win next term. Dwyer got to enjoy a party in the hall lead but our famous in house DJ. The party included dancing, games and finished with an ice block on the deck. 

Holidays

Wishing all of our Tallebudgera families a wonderful break. Term 4 commences Tuesday, 6 October (Monday, 5 October is a public holiday).
