Year 2 Australia Map Expo

Students in year 2 have been exploring Australian geography and First Nations culture. As part of the unit, students have been researching, locating and labelling key information on their own Australia Maps. 

We invited parents and students from across the school into the year 2 classrooms to view them and celebrate the hard work students have put in.

 It was a fantastic morning where students eagerly and confidently explained and shared the great things they learnt about Australia, landmarks, and significant sites.

Foundation Animal Habitat Projects

How lovely to have such a keen group of Foundation students come to show me their learnings all about their chosen animals! They were able to confidently and knowledgably speak about their project facts and their writing was so impressive!
