Father's Day Breakfast Celebrates Community and Connection 

On Friday 4 September, our campus was delighted to welcome fathers, grandfathers, carers, and other significant father figures to our annual Father's Day Breakfast. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together, share a light breakfast, and celebrate the important role that fathers and father figures play in the lives of our students. 

The morning was filled with warmth, conversation, and a strong sense of community as students proudly hosted the special people in their lives. It was wonderful to see so many families taking time to connect before the start of the school day and to enjoy the welcoming atmosphere that has become a valued tradition on our campus. 

At a time when young people are exposed to a wide range of messages through social media and the internet about relationships, identity, and the role of men in society, positive father figures remain incredibly important. Fathers and father figures help model respect, kindness, integrity, responsibility, and healthy relationships. Through their everyday actions, they demonstrate what it means to care for others, contribute positively to their community, and build meaningful connections with those around them. Their influence plays a significant role in helping young people develop confidence, resilience, and strong values. 

This successful event would not have been possible without the efforts of many members of our school community. We extend our sincere thanks to Mrs Hemming and the Student Representative Council for their outstanding organisation of the breakfast. Their planning, preparation, and enthusiasm ensured that our guests felt warmly welcomed and appreciated throughout the morning. 

We also acknowledge Mrs Cath King for her leadership of the students who worked so diligently in preparing and serving the food. The care and pride shown by our students reflected the very best of our campus and contributed greatly to the success of the event.

Thank you to all the fathers and father figures who joined us for the breakfast. Your presence, support, and positive influence in the lives of our young people are deeply valued. We were honoured to welcome you to our campus and look forward to celebrating with you again in the future.
