4Cs 

On Monday 31st August, St Peter’s College was represented by two cultural groups at the 20th year of 4Cs concert at Bunjil Place. The students prepared and practised their performances in the weeks leading up and represented the College and their communities so well on the night.  

Group 1 Filles des iles: A group of Mauritian students who danced a traditional Sega. Sega is a lively an expressive dance which reflects the island’s rich cultural heritage, blending African, European and Creole influences. Thank you to Micaela, Jade, Oceane, Shelly, Keissy, Ava and Noah.  

Group 2 Magic Sarap: This group of Filipino students performed the tradition of Tinikling using bamboo sticks Tinikling is a traditional folk-dance originating from Leyte mimicking the graceful movements of the local tikling bird as it hops over grass stems and bamboo traps set in rice fields. Thank you to Tamia, Levi, Katelyn, Haylan, Karl, Chayenne, Francis, Rianna, Shekinah, Kyle, Micah, Angelique, Kizzie and Julien. 

SIS Chess  

Congratulations to all students who attended the SIS Chess competition last week and thank you to Chris O’Hara for oganising.

SIS Athletics 

A massive congratulations to the SIS Athletics team who competed on Monday 31st August, taking out the overall win for Division 2. Thank you to all the students and staff who attended and made the day so successful!  

Father's Day 

On Friday 4th September we celebrated Father's Day as a campus with the annual Father and Father Figures Breakfast. A big thank you to Emma and the big team of staff helpers who cooked up a storm. Thank you to Peter Brannan, Scarlett and Asher for sharing their reflections of the special place of Fathers.
