Winter Appeal

Our Social Justice team, Eadie Foster, Alicia Hasell and Anna Aneesh, have been busy organising a food collection for the people in our community that need a helping hand at the moment. Each class will be given a box where you can make donations of  various food items and toiletries.

These goods can be sent to your child's classroom starting next week and will be collected on Friday the 22nd of August.

Thank you for your generosity.

Jubilee Mural

You may have notices some work that has begun on the wall outside the grade 1 and 2 classrooms.  This week we will decide on a design and map out what work needs to be done. If you would like to be part of this exciting project that may include painting and mosaic work,  I would love to hear form you. Please email me at cdavis@hsringwoodnth.catholic.edu.au

Parish News

Welcome back to everyone for Term 3.  We hope that you had an enjoyable break and are refreshed and ready for the Term ahead.  The main focus for August will be First Eucharist.  Please keep these children in your prayers as they prepare to come to the table of the Lord for the very first time.

On the weekend of 2nd/3rd August is the St Vincent de Paul $2.00 monthly collection weekend.  There will be collectors at the door after each mass.  Please give generously to this very worthy cause which goes to help the needy people of our own Parish community.

Jamming season is upon us.  If you would like to help make jam for this year’s fete, there will be a jamming session in the Church kitchen from 9.30am till 1pm on Saturday 2nd August and Saturday 23rd August.  Just turn up and Yvette Collins will be there to assist.  You can stay as long or as short as you wish.

The next Baptism Information Meeting will be held on Tuesday 12th August at 7.30 pm in the Parish House.  Bookings are essential.  If you wish to book a baptism, please contact the Parish House on 7036 9395.

Experience mass in the peace and beauty of Warrandyte.  Every Tuesday morning at 9.00 am, mass is held at St Gerard’s Church.  Set in beautiful surroundings this is an inspiring way to start your day.  Why not come along and enjoy the experience.  Address:  St Gerard’s Church, McCulloch Street, Warrandyte.

Blessings from the Parish House Team.
