Stay Safe | Try Your Best | Act Responsibly | Respect Others
This term will see a focus on Respectful Relationship units, such as: Personal Strengths and Positive Coping units.
CyberSafety will also be a focus for each level with the following learning intentions:
Prep: ScreenTime
Grade 1 and 2: Digital Footprints
Grade 3 and 4: CyberBullying
Grade 5 and 6: Critical Thinking: Artificial Intelligence and Fake News
Lastly each level will be involved in a Kids HelpLine lesson which will focus on a number of age appropriate challenges for example:
Prep to 2s will learn about Friendships and how to manage conflict resolutions.
Grade 3 and 4 will look at Resilience coming up to their camps.
Grade 5 will focus on Peer Pressure.
Grade 6 will have some developmental learning around transitioning into High School.
We look forward to another big term ahead in developing our student wellbeing, personal, social and emotional strengths.
Week 2 - Thursday 31st of July
Our Semester 1 SRC team highlighted a need for some comfier and social seating for our senior school, we are fundraising a rebuild of areas around our sustainability garden to include comfortable outdoor seating for our seniors students to socialise and play during recess and lunch. Please bring a gold coin to donate to these works.
Congrats to all our Gotcha Winners, the Gotcha winners of Term 2 will be handing out our Hot Chip rewards very soon!
Well done to the following students who are leading the way with STAR values this week.
Congrats to BLUE house who won Term 2, stay tuned for the Blue Day celebration. Who will be our House Cup winner for Term 3?
