Reflection

This prayer was shared at the recent  Flourishing Learners Conference.

Jesus our Good Shepherd,

You are the way to fullness of life and understanding.

Walk with us today, inspiring us to see the good in each young person in our care. May our schools be safe havens of welcome and belonging, so that each student can know that they are uniquely loved by the Lord.

Guide our educators and families to nurture each child's unique gifts.  May we view each child as a living mosaic of love, shaped in your gaze like stained glass pieces, making a beautiful whole.  Grant us reverence as our students grow, awe as they develop and learn. Help us celebrate their progress and value them as precious and loved by you.

Be with us as we foster cultures of learning where engagement thrives.  Grant us wisdom to balance compassion and guidance, encouragement and instruction, celebrating each student's growth and inclusion.

Confirm in us your Holy Spirit of preparation, so that together we may commend a true and lasting hope to each young person entrusted to us.
