Before and Afterschool Care

Hi Families,

I hope everyone has had a restful school holidays and ready for the final term of the year! Arabelle and I are so excited to share what is coming up for term 4!

Vacation Care

This school holidays we had many funfilled and exciting activities! Here are some of our highlights from the school holidays.

We went to the movies where we watched Bad Guys 2 and Kangaroo. We got to enjoy our favourite movie snacks while we were there and got to extend on these movies back at Syndal by participating in a Bad Guys competition where we drew our favourite character to win a prize.

The children also had an amazing time taking part in our TeamKids Colour Run! Children ran around spraying each other with coloured powder, we all got a bit messy but had a blast doing it!

Upcoming Events

Weeks 1&2: Club sign ups! Children will be signing up for their favourite clubs they would like to do this term! Potion club was a hit last term so Arabelle and I are excited to see what the children will come up with this term!

Weeks 1-4: Halloween! We will be doing a range of Halloween activities including a Halloween party in week 4! We have begun to decorate our space so come check it out!

Week 3 onwards: Club planned activities! In conjunction with the children's suggested clubs, we will also be doing culture club, continuing on from last term we will continue to fill out our passports as we explore a new club each week!

This term we will also be doing gardening club. With spring starting this is the perfect time to start our fruit and veggie patch. Last year we started it in January which didn’t give us enough time to watch the fruit grow! This term we are prepared and excited to see what we can grow!

Special Announcement

I am so excited to share that our wonderful 2IC Arabelle has officially completed her Bachelor of Primary Education a few weeks ago! We are so excited to see what her future brings at TeamKids and beyond! Congratulations Arabelle!
