Parents' Association

Welcome back to term 4. It will be a busy end to the year but lots of fun ahead.

Thanks to all our helpers from the footy hot dog day. It was great to have a couple of new faces helping out. The kids really loved the hot dogs and our crew did an amazing job on cooking and service.

We will have our next Second Hand Uniform Shop and Morning Tea on Friday 17th October from 9-10am.  Stocks are still low so please have a look at home and donate clothes your children have outgrown.

The parents association are looking forward to assisting the Green team with their book sale. More information will come soon. So remember to get your books in this week.

We will be hosting spoil the staff day in November after the musical. This is a day when we celebrate the teachers and all they do for our school. We will be calling out for helpers to sign up in the next newsletter.

I'm sure I talk for the whole school community that we are sad to hear of Ms Freeman's upcoming retirement. She has been such an important part of the school and responsible for driving so much change over the last 8 years. Syndal South is definitely a better school having had her as a principal. She is such a wonderful actively involved Principal, she's always there supporting the kids whether at athletics, aerobics or solar vehicle competition.  She is so friendly and welcoming to all with her door always open to students and parents. She is one of a kind and will be greatly missed. The good news is that we can celebrate with her over the next few months and send her off with lots of fantastic memories.
