Year 7 Boys Off to the Semi Finals

Our year 7 boys are making there way to the semi final round after competing in the regional finals on Thursday 7th August against Diamond Valley. The boys had a ripper day out winning 65 points to 13 points. The next game is Friday 15th semi final in Ballarat. 

On Friday 15th August the boys headed to Ballarat to play in the Semi finals. 

Unfortunately the boys lost their game to Catherine McCauley College 38-25. 

It was a massive achievement to get to this stage, all of the lads, the coaches and support crew should be very proud of the effort that was put in to get this far. Lookout next year!!!

 

Inter Boys Badminton 3rd In State

On Wednesday 14th August our inter boys headed to MSAC to play in the state final of Badminton. The boys had a great day wining all the way through to the semi finals. Unfortunately they came up against some extra strong competition of Maribyrnong sporting academy and lost the game. Well done boys its a great effort to be 3rd in the state be very proud. 

 

Inter Boys and Girls Basketball

On Tuesday 12th August both the boys and girls headed to Coburg stadium to play in the round robin for basketball. Both the Girls and boys team were runners up to Greensborough College. Well done to all involved. 

 

Inters Girls Futsal 

Tuesday 12th August the Inters girls futsal headed to Latrobe sports stadium to play in the futsal comp. The girls had a great day out winning all their games. Good luck for the next round ladies!!!

 

Year 9 & 10 Boys Futsal

On Tuesday 12th August the year 9 & 10 boys headed to Latrobe to play in the round robin in Futsal. The boys enjoyed there day out, unfortunately coming home in 4th place. 

 

Intermediate Girls Soccer

On Wednesday 13th August the girls headed of to Darebin International Sports Centre to play in the district soccer. The ladies won 1 out of 2 games. They worked well as a team to adapt to the conditions and support one another. Shout out to Neve for organising position rotations, Ainsley for bringing the positivity and Annie for solid leadership. Results 2-0 L against Brunswick College and 3-0 W against Sirius College. 

 

 

2024 Graduate Debuts for Essendon AFLW

A huge congratulation to 2024 student Holly Ridewood who will play her first game for Essendon on the weekend in AFLW. We wish you all the best for the years to come from all at Viewbank College.
