Banned Items

As detailed in the Student Guidelines, the following items are banned at THS.

- Deodorant sprays: Aerosol spray deodorants are banned from school as they pose a health risk to students and staff through the potential for asthma attacks and allergic reactions. These will be confiscated & a negative referral may be written if brought to school.

If students need deodorant at school, they are encouraged to use roll on deodorants.

- Chewing gum: Chewing gum is banned. Students will need to dispose all of it immediately when asked & will have a yellow negative written.

- Energy drinks: Energy drinks are banned. Students will need to dispose all of it immediately when asked & may have a yellow negative written.

If students are found to be continually bringing banned items, they risk more serious consequences.
