Wagin Woolorama
Our recent attendance at Wagin Woolorama was a standout experience, and I could not be prouder of the way our students represented both the College and themselves. They conducted themselves with maturity and confidence while engaging with the wider agricultural community.
A sincere thank you to the staff who supported this event. Your commitment and time ensured its success and made the experience such a positive one for our students.
Congratulations not only to the students who achieved place positions, but to the entire group, as they all contributed to Harvey Ag once again winning the Young Judges Award and bringing home the “Ram” trophy for another year.
Cattle Club
Yesterday I visited the Cattle Club down at the Dairy, where I observed students beginning the process of working alongside their show cattle for the year ahead. My thanks go to Ms Quilty and Mr Jolly for their guidance and their ongoing dedication to providing such a valuable learning opportunity.
Action Respect Workshop
I also attended the Action Respect Workshop last week alongside Mr Swallow, joining colleagues from other senior and residential colleges. The workshop provided valuable insights and reinforced the importance of respectful relationships, shared expectations and consistent approaches across our settings. It was encouraging to collaborate with peers and reflect on how we continue to strengthen our culture of respect and wellbeing within the College.
