Principal's Report

Dear Families,

What perfect weather we had for our 150-year celebration!  I’d like to acknowledge the hard work of parents, students, staff, the organising committee, The Junction Hotel, Grant Smith & team, The Lions Club and Toolamba CWA. Celebrating such a significant milestone takes a lot of effort and teamwork, and it's heartwarming to see everyone coming together to make it happen. Here's to many more years of community spirit and celebration!

Thank you also to Sam Birrell for being our MC on the day. The fact that he was a past student made it much more meaningful.

Fleur Ferguson kindly agreed to be our photographer on the day. Interested people can access the photos by following this link.

DARWIN TRIP FOR CHASE AND FAMILY

Chase is attending his first amateur boxing fight in Darwin this Saturday. Chase has been a part of the Goulburn Valley Boxing Academy for over 12 months training with Archie and his dad. The family, along with other fighters and his coach from the gym will be attending. We wish Chase all the best and I’m sure his new hair cut will be a lucky omen.

MERCHANDISE

If you missed out on purchasing a piece of merchandise at the weekend, items are still available for sale from the office or on QKr.

Our annual cross country will take place next Friday. Students in Foundation to Grade 2 will do their run around the community oval commencing at 9.15am. Following this event the Grade 3 to 6 students will run on the path outside the community oval. GREATER SHEPPARTON COUNCIL WASTE EDUCATION

On Tuesday 23rd, Hilary Grigg spoke about waste management with the students. Both students and staff came away from the session with a wealth of knowledge.

MOTHER’S DAY STALL

We are now starting to collect items for our annual Mother’s Day Stall which will be held on Wednesday 8th May. Items can be left on the tables outside the office.

Have an enjoyable weekend,

Regards Heather
