Digital Learning - Acceptable Use Agreement

As we head towards 2027, the Policy Sub Committee of School Council have been looking at the Acceptable Use Agreement for next year.

This agreement will replace the previous Digital Learning (Internet, Social Media and Digital Devices) Policy. It also reflects the updated Department of Education's Digital Learning Policy which outlines requirements and recommendations for the provision and use of digital devices and tools in a safe, intentional, and responsible way that supports learning. The main change is that in 2027, students in Year 3 will not be able to bring personal devices to school. Those students who are currently in Years 3-5 who have their own device can continue to bring it in 2027, and after that until they complete Primary School. Toorak PS is currently looking at options for purchasing/leasing school devices for student use.
